ジョーのお話 Jo's talk

毎週、先生たちの一人が自分の作品、制作過程を画像と共に話します。昨日はジョー・ストカム（ストッカム？）＝Jo Stockham。彼女がいたのも、この大学院を受けた理由の一つです。
で、彼女の大学の卒業展での作品から、最近、それも今制作中のモノまで、色々見せてもらいました。私の興味あることにとっても近くて、隅から隅まで面白かった！
We have tutor's talk once a week. Yesterday, it was Jo Stockham. She is the one of the reason I chose this course. She showed  us her degree show to the quite recent work (or rather the process of her work) It was exciting, more than I expected!

彼女の興味は、マッピング…日常の物を地図化する、記号化すること。その系統の作品のサイトは、１つだけ見つけましたので、下に貼ってあるページヘどうぞ。
それから違う者との間に、類似点を感じること…例えば人の肌と海の波の形の類似、サンゴと森…。

Her another work is relates to find similarity between different thinngs like human skin and waves of the sea, coral and tree... which I also have a passion!

で、来週の木曜日にチュートリアルを頼みましたぁ！本当にうれしいです。この大学に来た甲斐ががあったよぉ!!!
I will have a tutorial with her next Thursday! I am the happiest student!!!
